Naive - Amazonas Flores de la Selva

$17.50
By Naive

Made in : Vilnius, Lithuania

Origins of the beans : Venezuela

Tasting notes : The Flores de la Selva cacao tree grows in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, near the source of the Orinoco River, where traditional cacao varieties are found. The Venezuelan part of the rainforest is also notable because its cacao tree is not yet represented in the International Cacao Gene Bank, located in Trinidad. To date, the genetic affiliation of the Amazonas cacao tree has not been fully determined, but it is believed to be a wild forastero. A rare find!

"Naive crafts chocolate in a way that reveals the unique character of a cocoa bean. The chocolate is finally born after careful analysis of taste, color, smell, and texture. For some time now, our products have put Lithuania on the foodie map as a rising star of gourmet chocolate in the world."

About this collection :

Equator Collection: "The concept behind the Equator Collection is to use ingredients from a single ecosystem. Because the minerals, water, and soil of an ecosystem give life to its plants, the living things that thrive there inherently taste good together. Each chocolate bar in this collection is made exclusively from ingredients grown in the area or region of the earth surrounding the equator, with vibrant, intense flavors blended symbiotically into homemade tropical chocolate."
