This bar is made from 100% cocoa beans, with no added cocoa butter, lecithin, or vanilla. Our chocolate is free from soy, dairy, eggs, and gluten, and is made in a nut-free facility.

These beans come from Camino Verde Cacao, located in Duran (near Guayaquil) in central Ecuador. Vicente Norero sources freshly harvested, unfermented beans from over 100 farms and associations across Ecuador, and strives for optimal fermentation and drying, imbuing the beans with the nutty notes we love.

To soften the natural acidity of the 2023 harvest and deepen its chocolate flavor, Eric applies a medium roast and an extended conching time at the factory.
